After Care Guide

Carpet After Cleaning Care

Avoid Foot Traffic

Staying off your damp or wet carpets is one of the most important post-carpet cleaning steps to follow. Drying times for most professional floor cleaning services can range from 4 hours to an entire 24 hours or more. Times depend on humidity levels, and treatment received. The longer you stay off damp carpets, the better. Carpets should be completely dry to the touch before resuming foot traffic or replacing furniture.

Circulate the Air in the Area

Fans and your air conditioning or heating system can help dry your carpets quicker. If the weather is cool, turn on your heater to help dry your carpets. If the weather is warm, use air conditioning and a dehumidifier to help create dryer air in your home.

Vacuum the Area

When your carpets are COMPLETELY dry, vacuum them thoroughly for best results. This helps to pick up any remnants of debris and re-fluff the carpet fibers.

Upholstery After Cleaning Care

Avoid Use of Furniture

Avoid replacing cushions or pillows until they are completely dry. Do not sit on cleaned upholstery for 6-10 hours, or until completely dry.

Grout & Tile After Cleaning Care

Allow Area to Dry

Tile will be wet after treatment. To avoid slips, do not walk on the tile until it has dried completely
